1. Processing of personal data

1.1 Nature, scope and purpose

We process personal data essential to the continuous, secure and reliable provision of our services. This personal data can be classified into the following categories: membership and contact data, browsing and device data, content data, metadata or ancillary data, usage data, location data, sales, contract and payment data.

The duration of personal data processing is determined by the fulfilment of the intended purpose or by applicable law. Personal data no longer required is either rendered anonymous or deleted.

In particular, we process the information that data subjects provide to us voluntarily and personally when they contact us, whether by post, e-mail, contact form, social networks or telephone. This information may be stored, for example, in an address book or similar tools. If you provide us with personal data about third parties, it is your responsibility to ensure that their data is protected and that it is accurate.

Personal data from job applications are processed only to the extent necessary to assess suitability for an employment relationship or for the subsequent performance of an employment contract.

The personal information required to complete the application process derives from the data requested or provided, particularly in the context of a job offer. Candidates may also voluntarily provide additional information for their applications.

1.2 Processing of personal data by third parties in Switzerland and abroad

We may entrust the processing of personal data to appointed third parties, process them in collaboration with third parties, or transfer them to third parties. These third parties include, in particular, the service providers whose services we use. We undertake to guarantee adequate data protection for these third parties.

These third parties are mainly located in Switzerland and the European Economic Area (EEA). However, they may also be located in other countries. This is possible provided that, according to the assessment of the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), their data protection legislation offers an adequate guarantee of protection. In other cases, adequate data protection can be ensured through an appropriate contractual agreement, in particular by using standard contractual clauses, or through appropriate certification.
