About us

Erected in 1559, Château d'Auvernier, a historic gem ranked among the "150 best Swiss winegrowers" by Gault & Millau 2025 and winner of the "Best of Wine Tourism" 2025 award, nestles on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel, in the heart of exceptional vineyards spanning some 60 hectares. Exceptionally, this estate has belonged to the same family since 1603 and is today run by Henry Aloys Grosjean, representative of the 15ᵉ generation. Under his direction, the wine cellar, faithfully preserved in the Caves du Château, offers a palette of grape varieties with a few specialties and must-haves such as Pinot Noir and Chasselas, recognized internationally for its finesse and awarded several prizes.
